Select the text first. In a document Fontly changes the text you have selected; in a spreadsheet, the cells you have selected; in a presentation, the text box, table cell or text you have selected. The panel always says what it did, or why it could not.
Fontly lists exactly the fonts Google Docs™, Sheets™ and Slides™ recognise. Fonts installed only on your own computer cannot be used in these apps at all — not by Fontly, and not by the app's own font menu.
Use the Script filter. It narrows the list to fonts that actually contain that script, so you do not pick a font that silently falls back for your alphabet.
Yes. Every change Fontly makes is a normal edit — Ctrl+Z (⌘+Z) undoes it, including the Pro operations that cover a whole file.
Add-on actions have a time limit. When Fontly reaches it, it saves what it has done and tells you to run it again to continue — it never pretends to have finished.
In your own Google account, with the add-on's settings. They follow you across files.
In Google Workspace™: Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, then uninstall. That also removes the settings it stored in your account.
