The outline is built from paragraphs styled as headings, not from bold text. Select a line and apply Format → Paragraph styles → Heading 1/2/3, then press Refresh in the panel.
The outline is read when the panel opens. Press Refresh to re-read the document.
If the document changed a lot since the panel was opened, press Refresh first. If it still fails, the panel will tell you why — it never fails silently. Send us that message and we will fix it.
Yes. If your document uses tabs, each tab's headings are listed under the tab's name, and clicking an entry switches to the right tab.
The word count of the section that follows that heading, up to the next one — useful for spotting sections that have grown out of proportion. Word counts are part of Pro.
The outline itself and one-click navigation are free, permanently. Pro adds the word count under each heading, search across the outline, and export — copying the outline as text or inserting it into your document as a table of contents. If a Pro licence lapses, the free features carry on working; you are never locked out.
Open the panel, press Manage, then Remove licence from this account. Paste the same key on the other account with I have a key.
