These Terms govern your use of the Price Sentry Shopify app ("the app", "the Service"). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Price Sentry is a competitor-price monitoring and price-positioning tool. It:
read_products, read_publications);The app is informational only. It does not change your prices, and it operates at Protected Customer Data Level 0 — it does not access orders or customer data.
You must have a Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for activity under your store's installation and for keeping your Shopify account secure.

You are solely responsible for your pricing decisions. Price Sentry presents data and arithmetic; it does not give pricing, legal, tax, or financial advice.
Competitor prices are read from public pages using structured data and may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable when a site blocks automated reading or changes its format. When the app cannot read a reliable price it records a health failure rather than guessing — it never fabricates a price. We do not warrant that competitor data is complete, current, or error-free, and you should verify before acting on any single reading. The "break-even volume lift" in the simulator is a mathematical requirement to hold profit constant — it is not a prediction that any sales outcome will occur.
We aim for high availability but provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Scheduled refresh cadence (weekly on Free, daily on Pro) is a target, not a guaranteed real-time SLA.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the Level-0 data posture, sub-processors, retention, and your rights. Uninstalling stops processing; data is deleted on Shopify's shop/redact event (~48h after uninstall).
The app, its code, and its design are owned by the operator. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own store while installed. Your catalog and competitor data remain yours.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR SALES RESULTING FROM PRICING DECISIONS.
You agree to indemnify the operator against claims arising from your misuse of the app, your pricing decisions, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your local mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms and will revise the "Last updated" date; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
