Product Studio — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Product Studio ("the App"). By installing or using

the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install the App.

1. The service

Product Studio is a Shopify app that reads your product catalog (titles, prices,

compare-at prices, images) and plans a deals-montage video-ad timeline

scene order, durations, transitions, and honest price-drop badges. The App is

read-only on your store and operates under Protected Customer Data Level 0

(read_products only).

What the App does today: it produces a deterministic, render-ready montage

timeline (plan) and related insights. The one-click MP4 render that turns

that plan into a finished video file is on the roadmap and is not part of the

current service. The App states this plainly in-app and never presents a fake

rendered file.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must have a Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it. You are

responsible for your store, your products, and the accuracy of the prices and

compare-at prices in your catalog.

3. Honest price-drop badges — your responsibility

The App badges a product as discounted only when its compare-at price is

strictly higher than its price; it never invents a saving. You are solely

responsible for ensuring your compare-at prices reflect genuine prior prices in

compliance with applicable pricing, advertising, and consumer-protection laws in

your markets. The App reports your data faithfully; it does not validate the

legality of your pricing.

4. Plans, billing & quotas

Paid subscriptions are processed through Shopify's managed billing (recurring

application charges). By upgrading you authorize the recurring charge through

Shopify. Quotas reset on a rolling 30-day basis. Limits are enforced honestly and

shown in-app. Prices are in USD and may change on notice; changes apply to

subsequent billing periods.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or attempt to circumvent plan quotas; reverse-engineer,

resell, or sublicense the App; use it to produce misleading or unlawful

advertising; or interfere with the App's operation or other merchants' use.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its software, and its design are owned by the developer. The montage

plans you generate from your catalog are yours to use. Your store content

remains yours; you grant us only the limited right to process it to provide the

App.

7. Availability & changes

The App is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or

discontinue features (including the planned MP4 render) with reasonable notice for

material changes. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted

service.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,

INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND

NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that montage plans will increase sales,

traffic, or conversion. The App does not provide legal or pricing advice.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY

INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST

PROFITS/REVENUE/DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR

ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE

CLAIM.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin;

uninstalling cancels any recurring charge through Shopify and triggers deletion of

your data per the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of

these Terms.

11. Data

Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is part of

these Terms.

12. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without

regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; material changes will

be posted here with an updated date and, where they affect a live feature, before

that change takes effect.
