These terms govern your use of the Google Workspace add-on Alphabetize — Sort Paragraphs & Lists ("the add-on"), published by Going Stellar SRL ("we", "us"). By installing or using the add-on you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install it.
The add-on reorders the lines, list items or table rows you have selected in the Google Docs document you have open. It only ever acts on your current selection, it shows you the resulting order before you apply it, and it can undo the last sort. Alphabetical sorting (A→Z and Z→A) is free. With a Pro licence it also sorts numerically, by length, in reverse, or at random, and adds options such as ignoring a leading "The". It runs inside Google Apps Script and requires the single permission described in our Privacy Policy.
We claim no ownership of, and acquire no rights in, any document you use the add-on with. The add-on transmits no content to us; see the Privacy Policy.
Do not use the add-on unlawfully, do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, and do not use it in a way that breaches your agreement with Google. You are responsible for having the right to access the documents you open it in.
The add-on depends on Google Workspace and Google Apps Script. Those platforms may change, impose quotas or become unavailable, which can interrupt or end the add-on's functionality through no fault of ours. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the add-on at any time. Where we reasonably can, we will say so on this site rather than let it fail silently.
The add-on is free to install and use. Alphabetical sorting is free permanently, and so is everything that protects your document: the preview before applying, the undo afterwards, and keeping table rows intact. We will not move any of that behind payment.
Pro adds sorting modes the free tier does not have — numeric order, by length, reverse, shuffle — and options such as treating capital letters separately or ignoring a leading "The". Pro costs $29 per user per year, or $69 once for a licence that does not expire. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Pro is sold as a licence key, and the same key works in every tool we publish. The price you pay at the time of purchase is the price you keep at renewal, even if we raise it for new customers. If a licence lapses, you return to the free features described above.
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Going Stellar SRL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the add-on. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
This add-on changes your document by design: reordering text is what it does. It changes only the lines, list items or table rows you selected, and only when you press Sort. It never edits anything outside your selection, never deletes your text, and never runs on its own. Before each sort it shows you the resulting order, and after each sort it offers an undo. Google Docs saves automatically, so please glance at the preview — that is what it is there for.
You may stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it from the Google Workspace Marketplace or revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
