Privacy Policy

The short version. Prism runs entirely inside your own Google account. It makes no network requests at all — not even for images — we operate no server for it, and there is no analytics. The colours are a few dozen hex codes inside the add-on's own code.

The permissions we ask for

Permission	Why
`documents.currentonly` “See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Docs™ document this application is used in”	To read the text you selected and to set its colour or size. It grants no access to your other documents, your Drive, or anything else.
`presentations.currentonly`	The same, for the Google Slides™ presentation the panel is open in.

There is no third permission. Prism does not use UrlFetchApp: it never talks to any server, ours or anyone else's.

What is stored, and where

In your own Google account (Apps Script user properties), never with us:

Your panel settings — the palette, how it is applied, whether each letter, word or line is coloured, and the size range for growing letters.
Your own palette (Pro) — the hex codes you typed.
Your optional licence key, verified inside your account by checking its signature. No network call, no licence server.

We never store the contents of your document or presentation.

What we do not do

No analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling.
No transfer, sale or sharing of data with anyone.
No error reporting to us — exception logging is switched off in the manifest.
No use of your data to train any model.

Limited Use

Prism's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Since nothing leaves your Google account, the requirement is met by construction.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the add-on removes its stored properties from your Google account. You can also remove the licence key from the panel at any time.
