The short version. Your numbers are read, analysed and written back within the same spreadsheet — nothing from your spreadsheet ever leaves it, and there is no analytics. If you have bought a Pro licence, Statwise asks our licence server once a day whether that licence is still active; that request carries the licence key and a random identifier for the installation, and nothing else. If you have not entered a licence key, Statwise makes no network request at all.

The one permission we ask for

`script.external_request` “Connect to an external service”	Used for one thing only: asking `goingstellar.ro`, once a day, whether your licence key is still active. The request contains the key and a random installation identifier that we generate on your device — not your e-mail, not your name, and nothing from your spreadsheet. Statistics are computed in the add-on's own code; no data is sent anywhere to be analysed.

Why we check at all: a licence key is a file like any other, and one key was enough to unlock Pro for anyone it was passed to. The daily check lets us limit a Pro licence to three installations and switch off a key that was refunded. It is the only reason we ever contact a server.

If the check fails — you are offline, your administrator blocks outbound requests, or our server is down — nothing changes: your licence keeps working exactly as it did. A problem on our side never switches off something you paid for.

What is stored, and where

In your own Google account (Apps Script user properties), never with us:

Your last choices per spreadsheet and tab — the range, the analysis and its options — so the panel remembers them.
Your optional licence key, verified inside your account by checking its signature. The once-a-day check described above is the only time it is sent anywhere.

We never store the contents of your spreadsheet: not your data, not the results, not a copy of any row.

What our licence server keeps, and how it is protected

Only if you have entered a licence key. For each installation that checks a key, our server keeps:

a SHA-256 hash of the licence key — never the key itself;
the random installation identifier generated by the add-on;
the add-on's name, the date of the first and of the latest check, and how many checks were made.

Nothing from your spreadsheet, no e-mail address and no name is part of the check. How that data is protected:

Encrypted in transit. The add-on only ever calls our HTTPS (TLS) address; a plain-HTTP request is answered with a redirect and never reaches the licence service.
No IP addresses kept. The web server does not log licence checks, and the licence service behind it only ever sees the local proxy, so neither records where a request came from.
Restricted access. The licence service listens only on the server itself, not on the internet; the web server in front of it forwards only the licence-check and payment-notification addresses, and limits how often the check can be called. The database file is readable only by the server's administrator account.
Limited retention. An installation that has not checked its key for 90 days is deleted automatically. A refunded key can be revoked; the revocation list stores only the key's hash.

What we do not do

No analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling.
No transfer, sale or sharing of data with anyone.
No error reporting to us — exception logging is switched off in the manifest.
No use of your data to train any model.

Limited Use

Statwise's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Since nothing from your spreadsheet leaves your Google account, the requirement is met by construction.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the add-on removes its stored properties from your Google account. You can also remove the licence key from the panel at any time. The record of an installation on our licence server is deleted automatically 90 days after its last check; to have it deleted sooner, write to the address below.
