The short version: Cadence reads the range you picked, in the spreadsheet you opened it in, and e-mails it to the people you named. Nothing from your file is ever sent anywhere: there is no database and no analytics. Without a licence key the add-on makes no network request at all; with a Pro licence it asks our licence server once a day whether that key is still active, sending only the key and a random identifier for the installation. We never see your spreadsheet, your recipients or your mail.

| Permission requested | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
spreadsheets.currentonly“See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Sheets™ file you use this add-on with” |
To read the sheet and range you chose, so it can be turned into the table that gets sent. The permission is limited by Google to the one file the panel is open in — the add-on cannot reach any of your other spreadsheets. Cadence only reads: it never writes to your file, not even a status cell. |
gmail.send“Send email on your behalf” |
To send the scheduled message, and to e-mail you when a schedule stops. This permission is send-only: it carries no ability to read, search or list anything in your mailbox. |
script.scriptapp“Allow this application to run when you are not present” |
The clock. Without it a schedule could only run while you sat in the document with the panel open, which is the opposite of the point. Cadence keeps exactly one hourly trigger for all your schedules, and deletes it as soon as nothing is active. |
The add-on asks for nothing else: no Drive, no Calendar, no contacts, no access to your other files, and no permission to read your mail.
Everything Cadence remembers lives inside your own Google account, in the add-on's properties storage:
None of it is transmitted anywhere. Without a licence key the add-on makes no network request at all; with a Pro licence it asks our licence server once a day whether that key is still active, and sends nothing else.
Nobody. We do not share, sell, rent, transfer or disclose your data to any other party — no analytics provider, no advertising network, no data broker, no sub-processor and no affiliate. No such transfer would happen in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets either, because there is no stored data on our side to transfer.
Not even to us. The add-on runs inside your own Google account. It sends nothing to any server we operate, so we do not receive, hold, share or disclose your data, and we could not produce it in response to a legal request, because we do not have it.
The one place your data does travel is the one you choose: the recipients you type in yourself receive the table you scheduled, by e-mail, through Gmail™.
We do not use Google Workspace™ data obtained through Google Workspace™ APIs to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Cadence contains no AI component at all.
Cadence is a workplace tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here in plain words rather than buried.
The network permission (script.external_request, “Connect to an external service”) exists for exactly one thing: that daily licence check. The manifest limits it to https://goingstellar.ro/licence/, so it cannot reach anywhere else. If the check fails — you are offline, your administrator blocks outbound requests, or our server is down — nothing changes: your licence keeps working as it did.
