Into the add-on’s own columns — Latitude, Longitude and Geocode status — inserted as new columns right after your address column the first time you press Geocode. Your existing columns are never overwritten. The panel tells you the destination before anything is written.
Google’s geocoder could not resolve those addresses, even after the wider second pass. Fix or complete the address (adding a city or country column helps a lot) and press Retry … not found. The add-on never writes made-up coordinates for addresses it cannot resolve.
The result is real but not roof-top precise — Google matched the address only partially or resolved it to an area rather than a building. Check those rows if precision matters to you.
No. That is the point: rows that already have coordinates are skipped. Press Refresh, then Geocode — only the new rows are processed.
Geocoding runs on your own Google account’s daily allowance — currently 1,000 calls/day for consumer Google accounts and 10,000/day for Google Workspace accounts, reset by Google 24 hours after your first call. The panel counts what the add-on used. If you need more than the allowance, Pro can run on your own Google Maps API key, which has no daily cap here.
Large sheets are processed in steps of roughly twenty seconds so the panel stays responsive; everything finished so far is already written. Press Continue to keep going — it picks up exactly where it left off.
Forward geocoding — the two-pass search, the incremental mode, the retry button, the status column and the map preview — is free permanently. Pro adds reverse geocoding (coordinates → address), your own Google Maps API key, country bias and result language.
Open the panel, press Manage, then Remove licence from this account. Paste the same key on the other account with I have a key.
Write to us from your review address and we will send you a Pro licence key the same day, so you can exercise every feature described in the listing. Reviewer requests jump the queue.
