These terms govern your use of the Google Workspace add-on Pinpoint ("the add-on"), published by Going Stellar SRL ("we", "us"). By installing or using the add-on you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install it.
The add-on converts the addresses in the column you pick into latitude/longitude coordinates, written into its own result columns in the spreadsheet you have open, together with a status column that says how each address was resolved. It skips rows that already have coordinates, shows you what will happen before it writes anything, and displays results on a map. With a Pro licence it also offers reverse geocoding (coordinates → address), the use of your own Google Maps API key, country bias and result language. It runs inside Google Apps Script and requires the single permission described in our Privacy Policy.
We claim no ownership of, and acquire no rights in, any spreadsheet you use the add-on with. The add-on transmits no content to us; see the Privacy Policy.
Coordinates come from Google’s geocoding service and are as good as the addresses you provide. The
add-on marks uncertain results APPROX and unresolvable ones NOT_FOUND instead of
guessing silently — but geocoding is inherently approximate, so verify results before relying on them for
anything critical (deliveries, legal descriptions, navigation).
Geocoding uses your Google account’s own daily allowance from Google (currently 1,000 calls/day for consumer accounts and 10,000 calls/day for Google Workspace accounts, set and changeable by Google). The add-on shows you a counter and tells you plainly when the allowance is used up. Pro users may attach their own Google Maps API key; calls then run on that key and any Google Maps Platform charges it incurs are your responsibility, under your agreement with Google.
Do not use the add-on unlawfully, do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, and do not use it in a way that breaches your agreement with Google, including the Google Maps Platform terms. You are responsible for having the right to access the spreadsheets you open it in.
The add-on depends on Google Workspace, Google Apps Script and Google’s geocoding service. Those platforms may change, impose quotas or become unavailable, which can interrupt or end the add-on’s functionality through no fault of ours. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the add-on at any time. Where we reasonably can, we will say so on this site rather than let it fail silently.
The add-on is free to install and use. Forward geocoding — the whole job the tool exists for — is free permanently, and so is everything that protects your data: writing only to its own columns, the dry-run preview, the incremental mode and the honest status column.
Pro adds what no version of this job had before: reverse geocoding, your own Google Maps API key (no daily cap), country bias and result language. Pro costs $29 per user per year, or $69 once for a licence that does not expire. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Pro is sold as a licence key, and the same key works in every tool we publish. The price you pay at the time of purchase is the price you keep at renewal. If a licence lapses, you return to the free features.
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Going Stellar SRL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the add-on. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
This add-on writes to your spreadsheet by design — but only into its own result columns, which it inserts as new columns; your existing columns are never modified.
You may stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it from the Google Workspace Marketplace or revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
